Azai Apparel is an independent black owned luxury brand, based out of New York. Our goal is to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces, that makes you feel empowered, confident and comfortable!

Azai Means STRENGTH in Hebrew. The reason I chose this name is because, I wanted to create something that made you feel EMPOWERED and STRONG when you wore our pieces. Each and every one of our designs, as well as names of each style has a strong meaning behind it.

I remember searching for a luxury backpack that I can use on an everyday basis, that was still affordable. I could not find any! Either it was way too expensive, or just not luxurious or edgy enough for me. I realized there was a void for black owned LUXURY, AFFORDABLE backpacks for men. My creativity kicked in, and I realized I can create MY OWN. That is where it all started.

Creating luxury, affordable pieces that make you feel confident and strong. We put so much thought and effort into every single detail of this brand. From our hand drawn designs, down to our packaging.
